Return Policy

REFUND AND BUY-BACK POLICY FOR FROZEN FOOD PRODUCTS

(In compliance with the DTI Direct Selling Code of Conduct, RA 7394, and DA-BFAD Guidelines)
 

I. POLICY STATEMENT

Unilink Food Manufacturing Corporation (“Company”) is committed to fair trade, food safety, and distributor protection.
We recognize the right of our distributors to request refunds or buy-backs for eligible frozen food inventory purchased in good faith, provided that all quality and safety standards are met.
 

II. COVERAGE

This policy applies to all registered distributors, retailers, and resellers of Unilink frozen products, including items sold through the Unilink Food Distribution web app and authorized hubs.
 

III. QUALIFICATIONS FOR REFUND / BUY-BACK

Refund or buy-back requests will be honored if:

  1. Products were purchased for resale and not for personal consumption.

  2. The request is made within 30 days from the date of purchase.

  3. Products remain frozen, unopened, untampered, and stored under proper conditions (–18 °C or below).

  4. Packaging and labeling are intact, clean, and unexpired.

  5. Proof of purchase (Official Receipt, Delivery Receipt, or e-Wallet Transaction ID) is presented.
     

IV. CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS

  1. Buy-Back Rate – Approved items will be repurchased at 90 % of the original distributor cost, excluding freight or handling.

  2. Temperature Compliance – Items must not have been thawed or exposed to room temperature. The Company reserves the right to reject products showing refreezing signs or contamination.

  3. Refund Mode – Approved refunds will be credited to the distributor’s Unilink Wallet or bank account within 15 working days.

  4. PV/GV Reversal – Corresponding PV/GV and commissions earned from returned products will be automatically deducted.

  5. Non-Refundable Items –

    • Products bought under special promos, clearance sales, or sample packs

    • Products with damaged packaging, signs of spoilage, or missing batch codes

    • Products stored outside the required cold chain temperature
       

V. RETURN PROCEDURE

  1. Submit a Request
    Email support@unilinkfoods.com with subject: “Refund/Buy-Back Request – [Distributor Name / ID]”.

  2. Attach Documentation
    Include:

    • Proof of purchase

    • Photos showing packaging condition and label

    • Date of delivery and storage record (if available)

  3. Inspection & Verification
    Products will be inspected upon return to the nearest Unilink warehouse or cold-storage hub.

  4. Approval & Processing
    Refund is released within 15 working days from approval.
     

VI. TERMINATED OR INACTIVE DISTRIBUTORS

Distributors who resign or whose accounts are deactivated may return saleable frozen products purchased within the last 60 days for buy-back at 90 % of the net cost, provided that cold-chain integrity is proven.
 

VII. FOOD SAFETY NOTE

To comply with DA-BFAD and DTI food regulations, returned products that show temperature abuse, freezer burn, spoilage, or contamination will be disposed of immediately and cannot be refunded or resold.
 

VIII. COMPANY RIGHTS

  • The Company reserves the right to reject refund claims that do not meet storage, documentation, or quality standards.

  • Products accepted for buy-back become the property of the Company upon receipt and inspection.

  • The Company may revise this policy to comply with updated DTI or DA regulations.

All distributors acknowledge this Refund and Buy-Back Policy upon registration with the Unilink Food Distribution System. Compliance ensures fair trade and protection of both distributor and consumer welfare.
